^{My name is Rachel and I am a self taught photographer. I've had a love for art since I was very young, but my interest in photography began back in 2000 when I was just thirteen. I started out by photographing my pets and abandoned buildings (two things I still love doing!) and it has just grown from there.

I love exploring abandoned houses and buildings, photographing landscapes, and working with models (human and animal alike!). Photoshop is very important to my work as it is how I achieve my look and style. It's as essential to me as a darkroom is for a photographer who only uses film. I love adding textures to my work and playing with the colors and contrast in them- I am very inspired by vintage photographs.

Although I am an artist, when I am not doing photography for myself my fine art visions are available as freelance. Although I have worked with bands, couples, and other types of clientel, I hope to someday make a living as strictly an animal (pet) photographer- where my love for this medium began.
